From Molecules to Medicine: Turning Complexity into Clarity with Data Science

Hi, I’m Boyi Guo, an Assistant Professor in Biostatistics at the University of Utah. I develop computational tools to integrate and analyze population-scale molecular and clinical datasets to uncover mechanisms behind complex diseases such as pyschiatric disorders and cancer. My mission is to transform data into actionable insights for precision medicine.

Before joining Utah, I earned my PhD in Biostatistics at UAB and completed a postdoc at Johns Hopkins, focusing on atlas-scale spatial omics. My work has been featured in journals including Nature Methods, Bioinformatics, and Science.
